Nigerian American Public Affairs Committee (NAPAC) DMVPD is part of NAPAC USA with state PACS across the country.
We are about supporting the growing number of Nigerian leaders and individuals in Maryland and the U.S. who have political aspirations. We also take a critical look at non-Nigerian candidates whose platform and core values align with those of our diaspora community and deliberate on supporting them.

Policy Impact
NAPAC USA gladly lends it support to political initiatives that help the members of our community find equal footing in society. In and out of the campaign season, we continuously advocate for the political empowerment of our people in the United States.
Social Justice
We create awareness for public involvement and address issues to help foster community cohesion and a sense of community inclusion. Part of our ethos is, to be informed and be involved.
Education
NAPAC USA has enacted initiatives to help counteract some of the issues our community members face in accessing quality education.
Healthcare
NAPAC USA believes that our community ought to have the capacity to tend to its members health and wellbeing as well as provide them with vital aid, especially when finding it from mainline sources proves to be difficult.
Youth
NAPAC USA is committed to preparing our youth for the future. Alongside promoting civics, cultural awareness of their heritage, STEM activities, and internship programs, we are creating platforms to prepare them to be future leaders.
Immigration
NAPAC USA will continue to advocate for pathways to citizenship on behalf of undocumented members of our community.
